Google Ads may spend up to twice your average daily budget on days when demand is strong, but your monthly charge is capped at the average daily budget multiplied by 30.4, the average number of days in a month. Worked example: at ₹1,000 a day, any single day can reach ₹2,000, yet the month can never bill beyond 1,000 x 30.4 = ₹30,400. If delivery somehow exceeds that cap, the excess is returned as an overdelivery credit. So the question is never what Tuesday spent - it is whether the month is pacing inside the band, which is exactly what the weekly 0.95 to 1.05 check exists to answer.

How is PPC management different from just running ads?

Running ads gets you clicks. Managing PPC gets you qualified leads at a defensible cost. The difference is the wiring underneath - conversion tracking that matches your CRM, budget paced so it lasts the month, and bidding steered to the leads sales would actually work. Most underperforming accounts are not short of spend; they are short of management. The clicks arrive, but nobody is reconciling them against pipeline, so the budget keeps buying the wrong traffic.

Because cheap clicks routinely produce expensive customers. An account can post a great cost per click while quietly filling the pipeline with leads sales will never close. Optimising to cost per qualified lead ties the spend to outcomes you can see in the P&L. It does mean wiring the CRM back into the platforms so they learn which leads qualified. That is the change that moves the real cost, and it is where most of our work goes early on.

Is Microsoft Advertising worth adding to Google?

Often, yes - as a second engine, not a second strategy. Microsoft Advertising imports Google campaigns nearly wholesale, its audience skews desktop and professional, and clicks frequently price below Google for the same query because fewer advertisers compete there. The honest caveat is volume: search demand on Microsoft is a fraction of Google in most categories. We size it from impression data rather than enthusiasm, and it keeps its budget only while its cost per qualified lead holds up.

What actually decides what we pay per click?

Ad Rank. Google documents the inputs: your bid, auction-time ad quality (expected CTR, ad relevance, landing page experience), the expected impact of your assets and other ad formats, Ad Rank thresholds, and the context of the search. Position and price are recomputed in every single auction. The practical consequence: quality work is bidding. We read those inputs as the Auction Ledger, per ad group with the weakest entry repaired first, because better ads and better landing pages buy the same click for less. Law 01: quality is a discount.

Do we pay for fake or competitor clicks?

Both Google and Microsoft document automatic invalid-click filtering: clicks judged invalid are filtered in real time and excluded from billing, and charged clicks later found invalid are credited back to the account. The invalid-click columns are visible in your own reports. Where a pattern looks targeted - one IP range, one competitor, one odd hour - we add IP exclusions and escalate with the engine. The automatic filtering handles the bulk; the weekly review catches the weird.

Do dayparting and geo adjustments still matter with Smart Bidding?

They matter differently. Smart Bidding already weighs time, place and device per auction, so on automated campaigns we use ad scheduling mainly to control when ads serve at all, and location settings to control where - the machine handles the bid math. On manual and enhanced strategies, dayparting and geo bid adjustments remain proper levers. Either way, adjustments come from rolling 90-day conversion data, not folklore about office hours. If the data shows nothing stable, no adjustment ships.

How do you test changes without gambling the account?

With experiments. Google Ads experiments split traffic between the current setup and the variant, run to a pre-agreed metric, and end in a written verdict - applied or reverted. One experiment at a time, so results never contaminate each other. Law 04, applied. Big-bang rebuilds are how good accounts get wrecked. Anything structural - bid strategy moves, landing page swaps, match-type shifts - goes through a measured split first.
